How to Connect Instagram to Your Facebook Page

You can link these accounts using the Instagram mobile app or Meta Business Suite. We recommend the Mobile App method for the easiest setup.

From the Instagram Mobile App (Recommended):

1. Go to your Instagram profile and tap Edit Profile.
2. Under Public Business Information, tap Page.
3. Tap Connect or Create.
4. Tap Connect existing Page.
5. Select the Facebook Page you want to connect and tap Done. (Note: You must be an admin of that Facebook Page to see it in the list).

From Meta Business Suite (Desktop):

1. Open Meta Business Suite on your computer.
2. Click Settings in the bottom left corner.
3. Click Business Assets, then click Add Assets and select Instagram account.
4. Review the terms and click Claim Instagram Account.
5. A window will pop up asking you to log into Instagram. Enter your username and password.
6. If 2-Factor Authentication is on, enter the security code sent to your phone/email.

Troubleshooting: No Access to Facebook Email

If you are logged into Facebook but cannot access the email address on file (preventing you from receiving verification codes during connection), please follow these steps:

The "Admin Hand-Off" Workaround: Instead of trying to connect the accounts yourself (which triggers a security check you cannot pass), you will grant us Admin access to the Facebook Page. We will then perform the connection from our end.

1. Open your Facebook Page (Mobile or Desktop).
2. Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Page Access.
3. Click Add New next to "People with full control."
4. Type in David Cox or david@4adventuremedia.com.
5. Toggle "Allow this person to have full control" to ON and click Give Access.
6. You will be asked for your Facebook Password (this usually does not require email access, just the password you use to log in).
7. Notify us once sent. We will accept the invite and connect the Instagram account for you.

Why this matters: Connecting these accounts is the foundation of a professional social media strategy. If technical hurdles like lost email access occur, the "Admin Hand-Off" ensures we can move forward without you needing to recover the entire email account first.
