Purpose

This SOP explains how clients can securely grant delegated access to their GoDaddy account so a consultant can manage domains, DNS, and hosting settings—without sharing personal login credentials.

Follow these steps to add me as a member so I can help manage your assets.

Before you start

Account to use: Log in with the Google or TikTok account that manages your TikTok Business Center.
My email: dcox.4Adventure@gmail.com (use this for the invite).
Recommended role: Admin access (to manage all assets and settings) or Standard access (if assigning specific ad accounts).

Desktop Instructions (business.tiktok.com)

1. Sign in:

Go to business.tiktok.com and log in to your TikTok for Business account.

2. Open Users:

In the left-hand navigation menu, click Users and then select Members.

3. Invite new member:

Click the Add Members or Invite Member button.
Enter dcox.4adventure@gmail.com in the email section.

4. Choose Business Center role:

Select Admin for full access to manage all features, or Standard to limit access to specific assigned assets.
Click Next.

5. Assign Asset Permissions:

Select the Ad Accounts, Pixels, or TikTok Accounts you want to share.
For Ad Accounts, set the role to Admin (full management) or Operator (campaign management only).
Click Confirm or Assign.

6. Confirm:

I will receive an email invitation to join your Business Center. Once I accept, you will see me listed under Members with the assigned roles.

Role Guidance

Admin: Full access to all system functions, including adding/removing members and managing all assets.
Standard: Can only access and work on specific ad accounts or assets that are manually assigned to them.
Operator (Ad Account Level): Can create and manage campaigns but cannot manage account-level settings or members.

If you need help

No Business Center: If you don't have one yet, go to business.tiktok.com and click Create to set up your hub.
Missing Assets: Ensure your Ad Accounts and Pixels are "claimed" within your Business Center before trying to assign them.
